Marry Me Chicken is delicious - most things with cream, bacon and cheese end up being pretty good. However, this is the dish that would win my heart. If you've ever been to an old school Italian American restaurant, the kind with dim lighting and red leather booths - you've probably had some version of this sauce with chicken or fish. It's a line cook's favourite because the whole thing comes together very quickly in a single pan. It's perfect for a solo meal or for cooking for a crowd, as you can brown all the chicken in advance and make a big pan of the sauce to simmer. Put the pan straight on the table so everyone can help themselves while it's still steaming.
