Father's Day is next week, and I often hear that men are difficult to buy for - which is probably true, although I'm always obsessing over some new piece of kitchen kit that I'd love to be gifted.

I've put together a collection of objects, ingredients, cookbooks and kitchen items that I either own and use regularly, or would be very happy to receive myself. I've also thrown in a couple of clothing items I love and a few nonessential things that make life nicer.

Whether you're buying for your father, your partner, a friend, or using this as an excuse to treat yourself - hopefully there's something here that works for you.
